The Aims of AStretch

AStretch is the name given to a group of physiotherapists, from around the country, that meet twice a year to steer the management, and improve the understanding of, Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). The following diagram represents the group’s aims. We are curr ntly running weekend courses for post-graduate physiotherapists at least once a year with an extensive workbook, however we are also keen to run courses for patients and their families / close friends, as well as other medical staff. Our founder has written the AS chapter for Tidy’s Physiotherapy publication, and we are hoping to have input into the publication of ARC booklets and more. We are keen to play an active part in research and welcome any suggestions and support.
